ESTAR MAGAZINE - ISSUE 01

Estar Magazine is an independent biannual publication exploring urban subcultures and creative lifestyles. Covering street culture, fashion, skateboarding, music, and art, it highlights overlooked perspectives and new narratives. Produced in English and Portuguese, the 196-page A4 magazine reinterprets the free spirit of 1990s design with a contemporary sensibility.

Founded by editor-in-chief Igor Morozini and art director Graham Dow, Estar brings a global outlook shaped by their diverse cultural backgrounds. Issue 01 features contributions from Carlos Taparelli, Brian Downey, Bianca Lima, Francesco Goats, and more—offering readers fresh insights through a collective cultural narrative.

Estar Magazine은 도시의 하위문화와 창의적 라이프스타일을 탐구하는 독립 출판 매거진입니다. 스트리트 컬처, 패션, 스케이트보딩, 음악, 예술 등 다양한 영역을 자유롭게 넘나들며, 종종 간과되기 쉬운 시선과 새로운 이야기들을 전합니다. 매거진은 연 2회(Biannual) 발행되며, 영어와 포르투갈어로 제작된 196쪽 분량의 A4 포맷으로 구성되어 있습니다. 디자인은 90년대 매거진의 자유로운 감성을 현대적으로 재해석해, 혼돈 속에서도 창의성과 즐거움을 발견하는 미학을 담아냅니다. 

창간 멤버는 편집장 Igor Morozini와 아트디렉터 Graham Dow로, 각자의 문화적 배경을 바탕으로 글로벌한 감각을 매거진에 녹여내고 있습니다. Issue.01 에서는 Carlos Taparelli, Brian Downey, Bianca Lima, Francesco Goats 등 다양한 아티스트와 크리에이터들이 참여해, 저마다의 경험과 작업을 공유합니다. 이는 단순한 기사나 인터뷰를 넘어, 서로 다른 문화적 조각들이 하나의 서사로 엮여 독자에게 새로운 시각을 제시합니다.
